Susan’s quilt "Hello Darkness" has recently been selected by the US Department of State’s Art in Embassies Program to be on exhibit at the official residence of the US Ambassador to Guatemala. Her quilt will be on loan at the residence of Ambassador John Hamilton, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, for approximately 3 years.

Presentation
On April 21, 2003, Susan gave a presentation of her work to the Durham-Orange Quilt Guild in Chapel Hill, NC. She will be showing numerous one-of-a-kind quilts, and talking about her work as an artist.

Lecture
On May 16, 2003, Susan gave a lecture and presentation of her quilts for the Friends of the Mint, at the Mint Museum of Art on Randolph Road in Charlotte, NC. The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m.
