Sometimes it's fun to return to the basics. The use of identical shapes, symmetry, solid colors, and regular grid patterning is somehow comforting in times of high stress and chaos. The use of the polymer clay beads tends to make the quilt more contemporary and adds a bit of whimsy. The polymer shapes were color-blended to match the colors of the hand-dyed fabric.
